"I really can't understand why Hotel Santa Isabel is classified as a 2🌟 property; it has so many positive things to commend it! First and foremost is the thoughtfulness of having an English speaking staff. I was somewhat taken aback that this is not the norm in Spain's hospitality industry. I was extremely grateful to be able to communicate any questions I had and receive helpful information in return. Also high on the list is a desirable location: Hotel Santa Isabel is nestled in a junction of two streets not too far from Toledo's famous cathedral. I loved that it was quiet both day and night, as if I was in an oasis of peace, and the rooftop patio was perfect to watch the sunset and then see the sights come alive with the soft glow of lighting after dark. The property itself is very clean and my room was immaculate in every way. There were no chips, old stains, or threadbare linens. The maintenance is top notch. The breakfast service is a lovely addition and the coffee is quite good. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and polite. Hotel Santa Isabel is managed with complete competency and professionalism. My quarters were a big part of my choice to extend my stay in Toledo, and I will be happy to visit again during my next trip to Spain. Next time I will be sure to request a room with a view on an upper floor ~ make sure you do so when booking. I highly recommend Hotel Santa Isabel as a choice lodging in Toledo. "

"HUGE room and bath, large comfy bed, so perfectly located in the Jewish Quarter to many main sites (El Greco Museum, Sinagoga Santa Maria de la Bianca, obviously the San Reyes Monastery. ) All just steps away. And a fine restaurant downstairs with innovative dishes and good prices. Wish I had longer there!"

"The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. We had rented a car from Madrid so the parking at the hotel was convenient. Staff helped us with recommendations and getting us a taxi to go into the city instead of the using the car as parking inside the old town is difficult."
