"The cabin layout and size worked out great for our family of 6 (4 kids, ages 7 and under) to have a weekend getaway to take in the winter beauty of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area. It's a convenient location to the Luge Sports park (where we did some ice skating), other outdoor recreation, and Red Rooster (so easy for takeout). "This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"Stayed here for my son’s soccer tournament. Great home base, very close to Grand Haven. Beds were comfortable and home was a good size for a small family and pet. My son loved the reading area and all the games and building activities. My dog enjoyed the fenced in backyard and the nice walking trail around Spring Lake. We loved the sushi and Mexican restaurant right up the road. Unfortunately the lake was too open to do any ice fishing like we were hoping. Owner was very responsive and worked...
