"We would stay here again, but must comment. We were very disappointed with housekeeping. They made our bed but did not bring fresh towels another day they brought towels, but did not make the bed. The pool and spa were very enjoyable, but we did not know you have to ask for robes and slippers. We did not find them in our room and no one told us they were available."

"First time at a Pousada, though have stayed in Paradores in Spain. This is a very comfortable sprawling historic hotel with absolutely top-notch and genuinely friendly service, especially at meal times. Excellent food and lots of space inside the room and in common areas. The view over the city is lovely. Visitors need to know that it’s a pretty quick trip to the town and surrounding areas, but by no means a short walk. That makes this Pousada feel like a welcome getaway."
