"Wonderful stay at Na Travessa! Mariana, Joana and the rest of the staff were very lovely and helpful on providing tips and assistance. The area is very central so it is easy to move around the city and there is much to see. The room was very clean and well equipped. "My concerns were about the arrival process. I booked this on the train from Lisbon arriving at 2:45 pm. "we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. "The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "
