"The house is extremely comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms, comfortable seating, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. The house is located in a wooded area close to Itasca State Park and Park Rapids -- a wonderful location. The only suggestion our group has was that the hosts remove the plug-in fragrances throughout the house before guests arrive since some people have fragrance sensitivities (we unplugged them and that took care of the issue). "Great house and location. Super clean and hosts have supplied everything needed in the kitchen. Wonderful home. Definitely would recommend staying.haven't forgetsnything you might need. "

"We enjoyed unseasonably Warm fall weather hiking Maplewood state park and loved sitting outside on this gorgeous lake front cottage. The sunsets did not disappoint!"

"Our family stayed at the property over Spring break. There was more than enough room for our group to be comfortable. The lake was fun for ice fishing as well. Lots of games to play in the evenings. "

"The home was very nice & spacious for our needs. There were a few things broken when we got there so I emailed Darin so we weren’t charged for damages. He was very quick to respond. The neighborhood was quiet. The furniture needs some repair/replacing. Overall, it fit our needs very well"

"Absoultely beautiful place and location! Plenty of room for the family to spread out and have their own space and then all come together for meals and just hanging together. Even the 1yr old grandkid did well! Any communication we needed with the host received a prompt replied to and the one issue was immediately remedied.Definitely plan to come back for another family get together in the future!"

"We came to the area for a wedding that was just down the road at Thumper pond. The house was clean and had lots of space. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to utilize the lake access. FYI the access is across the road, not directly on the property. Overall we would recommend! "

"The house was clean, warm and comfortable. Two bathrooms definitely helped with 6 people. The kitchen had what we needed. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, but close to groceries, etc., and the relatives we came to visit. We would stay again."
