"We had a wonderful week here at Ian and Lesley's place. It is very secluded and peaceful, yet close to lots of interesting towns, villages and sites. The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. We would love to come back!"

"Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. The property was in a beautiful location and lacked nothing in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. and the pool was an absolute delight. Evelyne brought us some eggs from her own chickens when we arrived which was a nice touch. Highly recommended."

"My teenagers and I really enjoyed staying in this pretty cottage. The location is very rural and quiet. Because it is in between the Dordogne regions of Rocamdour and Beynac, there are so many things to see under an hours drive. Then home to enjoy the swimming pool. "Our room was not secure on our arrival. The key was in the door. The room did not appear to be fully prepared. There was no cover for the bedding or no towels, etc. Space was not great especially by the inside the bed where it was very narrow where I had to shuffle sideways to get in and out of the bed. The cooker combination only partly worked. The oven would not worked. The clothes line was falling apart and the barbecue equipment was one barbecue fork, later joined by tongs. "

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
