"We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. La dite "suite parentale atypique" est en réalité un couchage exigu, sans fenêtre ni aération, en haut d'une tourelle à laquelle on accède laborieusement par une salle d'eau mal concue (espace rapidement inondé par la douche). "We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the property. The 800 year old tower was magnificent and truly unique. The terrace and the porch were great places to have breakfast and play games in the evening. The pool and the badminton court were a perfect way to end day after exploring wonderful nearby villages. "Beautiful villa , beautiful pool but partly my fault for not doing research properly. This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"We had two wonderful weeks in our rented property which was situated within five minutes from excellent restaurants and village shops. Cassac-Aillac is well placed with many of the iconic beauty-spots within easy driving distance. An extra bonus were the wonderful range of birds we had in the garden. There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. We were sad to leave."

Kitchen well equipped, fridge, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee bean blender and filter machine. Otherwise everything clean and comfortable.
