"We were met with the most uninterested woman in the reception. Felt like she didn’t care about anything. "My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful."
