All pictures were accurate on the website. The last night of our stay the wind blew very hard and knocked the power out and we found some items to help with that. "My husband and I stayed here for my birthday / Valentines Day. It was the perfect little cozy getaway from the moment we walked in the doors! Dinah had a fire going for us so it was already nice and warm, the cabin was super clean and looked just like the pictures if not better! Kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware and made cooking our meals a breeze. No service but the WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. Absolutely zero complaints, we both loved it and will be coming back! "

"This little rustic cabin was warm and inviting. Had most of everything you'd need. It is very secluded right on the Crab Run stream which was rolling while we were there from all of the rain. When you walked out on the lovely covered porch it always sounded like rain even if it wasn't raining due to the rolling stream. What a relaxing sound with your morning coffee on the porch. The gas wood stove made it nice and toasty inside and the large fire pit was wonderful for relaxing outside. All in all we loved this place and would go back again. You have to check out the local Sugar Tree Store in McDowell which is a mile away from the cabin. We got to meet Glen the owner of the store. We got an education about the area from him and enjoyed some good ole country hospitality. Be prepared to drive through the NFS mountains to get there and to get to other towns. The drives around were breath taking. "
