"We had a wonderful time in Arles and the property was located in a rural setting, but close to all the sites we wanted to visit. The property was well maintained, clean and everything worked well. The fully equipped laundry room and kitchen was a plus. Jackie and Michel were great on-property hosts. Very kind and helpful, even driving me into town for a quick tour and stop at the local market on arrival. They were quiet and there when needed with a smile. "The house is located in a very quiet area and is very nice. The downstairs is air conditioned, modern and excellent, the kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs really needs air conditioning as it was very hot and you are unable to leave the windows open due to mosquitoes. The BBQ was rather old and tired but now has a new grill as we bought one! Je mets un bémol sur la propreté de la maison qui n'était pas au niveau puisque j'ai dû effectuer un nettoyage des salles d'eau, de la chambre en extérieur ainsi que la quasi totalité des couverts et de la vaisselle. "We stayed for 3 weeks. This is our second stay in the Camargue and we are enchanted by it. The manade itself is large and quite busy, sometimes a bit noisy as they occasionally get large groups visiting. "We had a very good stay, we would like to thank the hosts for going literally the extra mile to give us a ride back to town when we had issues with the rental car. We did not use the pool as you had to go through a few gates and the mosquitos were loving us. I have never booked with Vrbo before and did not realize it did not include towels and sheets. I have used other online systems for booking homes and never had that experience. A very nice location with good wine and nice people."

"As our first venture to Provence, we could not have picked a better family home to stay in. Claude and his wife were great hosts and everything we needed as a family with a toddler was available. St Remy was a lovely visit and the market day on Wednesday was a real treat. We could not find any fault with the place and spoke with Claude on our lat night (over a glass of Cremant) about returning next year!"

Le logement, qui se compose enfaite de plusieurs appartements (qui communiquent entre eux sans passer par l'extérieur, d'ailleurs ce n'est pas très clair dans l'annonce) était très propre. La literie confortable. Cependant nous avons eu froid le premier soir, c'est une maison ancienne avec du simple vitrage et le propriétaire avait mis les climatisations en route, mais...

"We had a great stay in the Camargue, despite a little more rain than we would have liked! The gite is beautifully situated overlooking an open grassy field and surrounding trees. We were made to feel welcome. The immediate area is very peaceful. It is well placed as a base from which to explore the wider Camargue and further afield."

"This is a pleasant, quiet, updated and well-maintained small stone house. The garden is beautiful and restful, and the location is excellent. A few things: there is a narrow, very steep spiral staircase which is not for the uncoordinated or faint of heart. The kitchen is minimal, with little tableware, a half-dishwasher, and no oven, which we note because we had intended on baking a birthday cake. The landlady/family are very nice and help to make for a pleasant stay."

"Very mixed. Big house, lovely pool, well appointed kitchen, nice locale. However, the house manager was very contentious from the start, not very responsive, and definitely not interested in making our stay comfortable (no toilet paper or soap in the entire house when we arrived after a trans Atlantic flight, some dirty towels and argued about giving us more, lots of threats of additional charges, etc). She accused us of breaking a sun umbrella upon checkout that was broken when we arrived....

"We wanted to visit the Camargue, its wildlife, its landscape and the beaches. We loved the house and the garden. The decor was great and a mix of modern eclectic, traditional Camargue and farmhouse cottage. There were only 5 adults in our group (2 others had to pull out), so we had loads of space. The self contained cottage in the garden was a great bonus, which wasn't obvious from the listing. The kitchen and dining room was very well equipped too."
