"For a 4 star hotel this was appalling. During our 3 night stay we didn’t see one member of hotel staff. No reception (self checkin & out) room was dirty I had to clean the toilet when we arrived and the cups but there was no one to tell. Rang reception several times no one picks up. Went down whole area in darkness. You would have thought the hotel was closed. Dinning room closed breakfast in attached bistro, thank goodness this was lovely. "

"We like that the old hotel had a lot of history attached to it. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel could do with a refurbishment, as it looks worn and and dated, but the costs involved i assume would be astronomical. In saying that, we would have no hesitation in staying there again, as we really enjoyed our stay."
