"Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book this. Very reasonable too."

"My partner and I loved our stay. The location is perfect and the house is well appointed with everything you might need. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, as well as really beautiful. The space itself is well decorated and feels very welcoming and clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The porch is absolutely spectacular, with the views of the river. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the river. The gas fire pit was amazing at night, along with the tiki torches. It was the most perfect romantic getaway, and the most amazing place to be home-base for our kayaking adventures. I highly recommend booking a pick up from Rum 138 to somewhere up river. We really enjoyed being picked up in the morning and kayaking all the way back to the house by late afternoon. Being able to kayak 10 1/2 miles back to our rental house was really nice. Not having to worry about packing gear into the car and heading home or back to a hotel after a long day of kayaking was invaluableWe look forward to coming back. It’s really the perfect place. If you’re looking to do any kind of kayaking on the Santa Fe, Ichetucknee, and Suwanee rivers. Mark was an amazing host and was so helpful and responsive. Seriously, I just booked this place. You will not regret it."
