"Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book this. Very reasonable too."

"The first room we were given had a broken bed. The mattress was totally lopsided and when we pulled it off the frame to try and balance it, we saw that the boxspring on one side was broken. The chair in the room had something sticky on the arms and the tub and toilet were stained and scratched. The other guests that we saw on this side of the hotel (closer to La Quinta) were carrying multiple shopping bags and kitchen goods. People were sleeping in their cars. It honestly seemed like it was being used as a homeless shelter. When we complained about the bed and were moved to the other side of the hotel (near Mr. Han’s restaurant) it was a totally different experience. The room was much cleaner, the other guests were wheeling suitcases, and cars were parked but not occupied."
