"Let’s be clear: this is a renovated hotel from another era. It’s not going to be some all amenity modern hotel. Two stories and no elevator, carry your own bags, simplicity. The beds were very good, the room was clean, the doors were secure, and the water pressure was good. The continental breakfast was the cereal, yogurt, and fruit of others. It felt like I was staying in an original Howard Johnson of the 1960s and I appreciated that. "

"My husband and I stayed at this property with our 2 grandsons to go to Legoland. It is situated very close to Legoland, approximate 10 min walk,(saves a $30 parking fee at Legoland) felt very safe, good breakfast in the morning, friendly staff. Several restaurants nearby, also walkable. Free parking at the hotel. Our room was large and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again."

"Everything about the place was very dated, like back in the 70's. The bed was uncomfortable, felt like the box had no support in the middle. Some of the small kitchen appliances shouldn't have been there as they were old and sticky-dirty. We could have used measuring cups, and an electric kettleThe bathroom had a dank smelly odor.The host was very accommodating and friendly, responding quickly to any issues.The tv, cable and internet were great.The use of the golf cart was a great bonus!All in all it was a little over-priced for what we got.Overall, we were out more than in, enjoying our stay there, and the area sights."
