"The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."

"Our stay at the Barbacane was lovely. It's pretty close to Spoleto, though a somewhat winding road. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. We had a very nice time there! "

"This home is a little peace of heaven. When we arrived, we parked in the car area, walked up the stone steps through a beautiful arch, and made our way to our apartment. Communication with Paolo was easy, making our arrival delightful. He had a bottle of wine waiting for us as a welcome. Our apartment had a terrace with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. "The house was as described and shown in the images. If you have mobility problems beware the short but relatively steep drive and the 10 or so steps up to the patio and entrance. The weather was pretty hot but the house was naturally cool with thick stone walls. "Lovely hill top setting in this restored castle village. The apartment is very pretty, and we enjoyed the pool and a soothing spa treatment. The kitchen is small but has what you need. We cooked several times, and dined out several time. L'Abbazia restaurant was a wonderful dining experience. (Loc. Castel San Felice Sant'Anatolia di Narco), The staff at the hotel property are very friendly and helpful, and answered many questions for us. Easy travel to Spoleto for some sightseeing too."
