"My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. This was a convenient location close to places to eat, the Metro, and major roadways. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. I'd definitely recommend. "This property was exactly what we were looking for in our weekend stay visiting our Midshipman. The cottage was only a 30 min drive to the Yard and provided a peaceful retreat from the hussle/bussle of DTA. The cottage offered expansive water views and the outdoor space/dock was perfect for watching the boats and wildlife. The kitchen was amply stocked formour needs and the beds were comfy. Thanks for an excellent weekend, we plan to come back!"

"I didn’t like it at first because the carpet in the halls were dirty and no AC in the halls, but they fixed that the first day there. The area outside smells like MJ but I believe that is some what normal for DC. The hotel is 15 min walk from the Union Station where you can get transported to see the museum and monuments. Grocery market around the block and a lot of places to eat. Best part about the hotel was the inside pool and spa. No worries about weather or bugs. "
