"This was a lovely location- right across from an absolutely gorgeous beach! The owners were very responsive and left a great book with hikes, restaurant menus and more. Sunrise at Pillbox is a must. The downstairs was a bit small and the master bedroom was reached by walking through the smaller bedroom but both were very nice and this wasn’t a an issue for our family. Overall wonderful!!"

"This property is the best rental we've stayed at by far! Super clean, 3 minutes walk to the best beach in Oahu, Lanikai and just so charming. My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we couldnt ask for a better location. The host was very nice and accomodating. I recomend this property 100%. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. "Terrie is such a warm and welcoming host, treats you like Ohana. Excellent location and very nicely supplied with everything you need. Just bring your Aloha spirit and you will enjoy immensely. Walk out the door and in just a few steps and you’re standing in the sand. The views, including the sunrises are incredible. Mellow waves, swimming is easy. "The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now...
