"The Good Life was perfect. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed the well-appointed interior and sat outside in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine after our excursions to neighbouring towns and villages. BTW, the location is excellent for exploring the area. Rieux Minervois is a small town with a great boulangerie down the road (walking distance), good Italian restaurant across the road, and a local wine co-op. There's also a small market on Saturdays. "Le Pigeonnier was perfect for our purpose: relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by vineyards and a floral garden, the pool is a highlight. This property is clean and well maintained. Our hosts were delightful and went out of their way to assist us. It was close enough to the village that we could do our morning jaunt to the bakery by bicycle. It is close to a supermarket also. "We are a family of 5, with 3 teens. We had so much space in really clean and comfortable surroundings. Communication was excellent and Martine and Jean were good hosts. The pool area with outdoor kitchen was lovely and peaceful and the garage with ping pong a treat! Would recommend to families or groups. We would return ( and remember all our belongings next time! - thank you Martine!) "

Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? "Long time friends joined my wife and I for 4 nights at this comfy apartment. We enjoyed the views of the old town from the back terrace and garden, especially at night. It is an uphill climb to visit the old town but the access point is very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable, while compact, and easily accommodated four of us. "Beautiful and cherished family home. All rooms a good size with en suite showers, fewer toilets as expected with a house this age but plumbing works very well. Very well equipped kitchen and pleasant outdoor BBQ area. House is well situated for road transport and supermarket.
