"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

The house itself was really nice with a good size lounge, well appointed kitchen and separate dining room. The local village is very quiet and the nearest town has a great bakery and a few supermarkets. "The property is located in a beautifully forested area on an estate making it a perfect get away from my family’s daily urban bustle of living in Paris. The renovation of the guest house is well done and tasteful. The wood burning fireplace was a delight in the chilly weather to celebrate an early Canadian-style Christmas. The kitchen had basic equipment. A few more baking dishes as well as a basic stock of dry goods (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc) would have elevated the experience."
