We wanted a comfortable, easy place to stay close to the chateau at Fontainebleau and the town centre for dinner as we were travelling up through France from the south back to the UK. This was perfect in that regard. Clean, modern with a spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast was surprisingly good too.

It was a nice little hotel. The garbage was full but house cleaning cleaned it. Mom liked how hard the bed was. I didn't like it at all. The bathroom lighting has issues because it's on the side instead of above, and the hair dryer doesn't reach the mirror in the bathroom better than that. It was a nice room.

Nice and very conveniently located close to the Chateau and restaurants. Free onsite parking is a plus. Breakfast is simple (continental breakfast), but better than other comparable chain hotels. Rooms are somewhat small but fine for a couple of days. One quibble is that the shower base had some stains.

This is a good inexpensive hotel. Close to everything good parking a nice bar but no restaurant. We didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A short walk to the château and the centre of town and very flat walk no hills. However if you are expecting luxury this is not the hotel for you. I would definitely stay here again. It is a great basic hotel and well worth the stay.

Paid for the entire booking via Expedia. Received a French note right before boarding the plane so did not read it nor translated it. Got to the hotel around 1 am after arrival at 10:30 pm but realized by a helpless Expedia chat service person that the front desk closes at 11:00 pm. There was an onsite machine for checking in but after putting in my Expedia reservation number was told invalid number. Now I am charged for $255.00 for a night stay that did not happen and was turned away at 1:30 am in the morning after more than 18 hours of travel.

The main thing is that this isn’t really a hotel as one would expect it… much of the day and all night there is no front desk or lobby. The housekeeping is randomly okay or poor, such as only 2/16 days during my stay getting all the things I needed to make coffee in my room. No fridge, no safe box in room. No way to keep luggage after checkout. Having said that, the shower bathroom and bed were good, and it is in a quiet area right next to the Chateau with plenty of parking.

The rooms are fine, but the absence of a manned reception from 13.00-17.00 and after 23.00 can cause problems - don't forget the key card in your room as the emergency telephone no. is attached to the key card. They have an automated check in system, but it is poorly designed, so I couldn't get access. It turned out that that the reservation no. asked for is not the one you're given from the portal and that the first name asked for was the initials that appear on my credit card (first and surname were the alternative option). They were completely unapologetic about this and suggested that everybody else were at fault, not themselves, and that they intended to do nothing about it. This service attitude let's down an otherwise pleasant hotel.
