"We were excited about booking this property when reading the posting. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. You are woken by birds and apart from the wind in the trees, that's the only sound. "The cottage is in a lovely sunny position, very quiet and the beds are comfortable. It’s not a spacious cottage for 6 adults - the sitting room, main entrance, kitchen and dining area are all the same room; one sofa with 4 seats; very little ‘kitchen’ space but adequate hob and oven. The owner’s family were warm, friendly and helpful. I would stay again if holidaying in Holland, but not with 6 of us, really it suits 4."

"Everything about this stay was perfect. The tents were fantastic, really comfortable and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The location was brilliant, it was really peaceful and the countryside was gorgeous, it was close enough to visit Amsterdam too. Our 2 year old loved playing in the park and trampolining. Peter the host was friendly and accommodating. We just wish we'd booked to stay longer! Would 100% recommend."

"We are a family of 4 from Canada, and this was such a lovely place to stay and explore the area including Amsterdam. It was very easy to hop in the train. The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently. I would highly recommend a stay here."
