"The River Suites had beautiful views and were very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is only available for an hour, but it's very good. Be aware that this is an ideal hotel for the self-sufficient. There's limited staffing at the front office, no concierge, and no room service. The grounds are gorgeous for walks and very well taken care of. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return, but I know some people want 24/7 service and you won't find that here."

"Beautiful location, very quiet and natural surroundings. This isn't a negative comment but nobody was on site most of the day and never at night. The mattress was very mushy and uncomfortable, that definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that we loved it and would recommend it to family and friends. "

"We have never been on a houseboat before and was really looking forward to our 3 night stay. The houseboat is really nice with all amenities. The lay out is a bit funky. Bedroom is upstairs with an outside entrance. Couch downstairs is second bed, didn’t sleep on it so don’t know how comfy that would be. We lost all water, through no fault of the owners and only got to stay one night. Owners graciously refunded 2 nights money. I would book again, very close to family. "

"My family and I had a blast. It was beautiful. Did not need to travel far for some great food. Will definitely be back. Staff were so friendly, pool closed at 8:30p every night, that was the only disappointment, due to lighting or something. Overall great place! "
