"We had a great stay at Lac Sainte-Croix. Patrick and Bernadette were lovely and everything was as pictured on the listing. There is a little terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and a kitchen with everything you need to cook if you want to stay in. There is also a restaurant downstairs (same building as the apartment if you don’t feel like driving) but we really preferred taking the car and either do our groceries at Riez or simply move around to discover the different villages and beaches....

We communicated perfectly with the manager and she was helpful and willing to provide anything we needed. "We are tennis fanatics so it was lovely to have a private court in good condition in the grounds. Played every day. Nice pool to cool off. Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...
