"We had a wonderful week here at Ian and Lesley's place. It is very secluded and peaceful, yet close to lots of interesting towns, villages and sites. The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. We would love to come back!"

"Ancienne Ecole is scruffy and run down but it could still be a charming, rustic place if it was just being looked after in the basics. It isn't though. The owners told us they weren't using a management company anymore and they were finding it difficult to deal with maintenance issues remotely. I'm sure it is tricky but it's no fun to rent it for your family holiday and have to deal with constant problems such the pool not working, and the stench of sewage from the drains in the ensuite bathroom...

Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. "The perfect house for a family holiday. We loved the garden, pool and all the different areas and the fully equipped house felt like a home from home. It was handy that the local town was so near and had all we really needed but also lots to see and do around. Communication with the owner was very good. It was everything we needed, and more!! Mais ce n'est pas pour cela que l'on vient à la Baudette, c'est pour son calme, sa tranquilité et sa piscine pour se raffraichir ! "Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."
