"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay...

"Adelina was the most gracious and friendly host! Supplying us with incredible fruit and eggs from her gardens and chickens. The house had spectacular views of Sao Jorge and had tons of room for a family of 6. It also had a well appointed kitchen. Loved the location. A great stay. "

"We traveled with a large group and this was the only home that could accommodate all 7 of us. The owners reside in an adjacent home on the property. They were there if we needed anything but did not intrude. We had access to a washing machine, and the home has a bathtub which several of us enjoyed. The views from the property are incredible and you have a large outdoor area with a picnic table and BBQ. Definitely a rustic home with lots of old world features. "Our family of 5 (four adults & one teen) felt right at home. Plenty of room and the outside yards are very special. You’ll want a rental car or be prepared for a steep walk up from town. Kitchen is small but well-equipped. Hosts are nice and helpful. WiFi is strong & reliable. Good screens on the windows to keep the biting bugs out!"

"Loved the house,loved the location. Miguel was quick to address any questions we had. My only criticism is that there was no comfortable place to sit. We encountered terrible downpours and were confined to the house for an afternoon. There was no sofa or even a comfortable chair to sit and read a book. However, saying that, I would not dissuade you from staying in this lovely home."
