"This was definitely a unique property. It is in a very old building, located right in the piazza, with lots of dining options. We stayed in the Triple Room, on the top floor. "The hotel is located in the absolute best location! The room was very comfortable but there is no cleaning service (new towels) unless you ask in advance. There is also no shampoo and conditioner; just the body wash, and no body lotion. This seems to be the new normal in Italian hotels unless they are 5 star. Not really an issue though because there is a Coop store directly next door. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great."

The price for 4 nights were so good , great view from the Balcony , comfortable bed and very clean as well. But since it is the limited traffic zone, you need to arrange your arrival with the owner in advance in order to avoid getting fines later. Francesco is very helpful. Even though the building is very old, rooms are well remodeled with all necessary amenities. However, there is no elevator, so you have to lift your luggage by stairs. Breakfast is ok in a small street cafe."

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
