"Fabulous gem of a hotel. Friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and could do enough to help, superb breakfast with so much choice, and comfortable, super clean, quiet rooms. Add to that the fact that it’s in a superb location, less than a minute’s walk to the Castello Estense and the main square. Definitely recommended. "

We did ask for a quiet room if possible and unfortunately it turned out to be the opposite. Right next to the lift. Lots of noise also coming from the room above that did disrupt our sleep."

The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available.
