"We really enjoyed our stay at Ferragudo. The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away. "What’s not to like?Location by a beautiful beach with an excellent cafe.Set privately behind electric gates this is a small complex of various apartments with communal facilities.It is ably managed by Sandra who loves her job and treats the place as her own. "Property was nice with good rooms and private patio. Only drawback was that it was cold and the portable heaters were insufficient to provide a temperature reaching 18 degrees C. They also added electricity cost of about 40 Euros per week. We booked for March which this year was too early."
