It also was convenient to Issaquah and the site of our party. I gave the place one less star for highway traffic noise---maybe more sound insulation could be added to the loft? "This is one of the few rentals on VRBO that allows events, and it was perfect for our elopement. We were married on the dock, roasted smores by fire pit, and enjoyed the quiet nights away from civilization. Other perks: the bathroom vanity and heated bathroom, tall mirrored closet in master bedroom that was high enough to hang the wedding dress without it touching the floor, large windows in the family room to view the lake, and fully equipped kitchen. "Small (~600sq ft) but everything you need in a lakeside stay for a few people. Dock is amazing to play or lounge on and picnic table outside made up for the small indoor table. We stayed on this lake last year and love the quaint peacefulness on the water. Pedal boat and kayaks are very nice amenities. Furniture could use an upgrade. The master bedframe was threatening collapse, the couch was worn and the stools around the table were wobbly at odd heights. Small couch is the only comfortable...

"Our family had the best time at this cabin! It was adorable and had everything needed to cook and make meals for a big crowd. We hung outside most of the time. The outdoor space is the perfect place to eat and play games together. Enjoyed picking blackberries, watching the wildlife, making smores at the fire pit, and playing outdoor games. We took our paddleboards a two minute drive away…just perfect!"
