"The apartment was very clean and cozy but if you are tall watch out for the low ceilings. Being in an old home it has some wonderful character! The bed was very comfortable as well and has a nice living room with TV. I would highly recommend this place to stay. The host is also very receptive and on top of everything, thank you Ebenezer."

"We were in town for a family gathering nearby, and Joanne’s home was the perfect resting spot for the four of us. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Joanne was an incredibly thoughtful, kind, and responsive host. "My family and I were in town to tour Boston College because our son starts there in the fall and we wanted to stay near the school and get the feel of the neighborhood. The home was in a perfect location and great neighborhood. We were only a few minutes from the college and about 20 minutes from downtown Boston. The host was great with recommendations to stores and restaurants both near the home and downtown. I would definitely stay here again. Also, I drive a big truck so off street parking...

"The property is absolutely lovely and overlooks Mirror Lake. Everything was well stocked and immaculately clean inside. Check in/out process was seamless. We were able to drive into Boston, Salem and Rhode Island with ease and had a fabulous time. Would definitely stay here again."

"The place was in a perfect location. Short walk down the hill to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and shops. Plenty of off street parking. Plenty of room in the house and fully stocked with what is needed. Some of the decor is a bit dated but it does give the place a homey feel. Would happily stay here again."

"I just wanna say that everything about the listing is on point. My cousins and I had a great snowboarding weekend at Mount Wachusett and this property was the perfect location for us. "The home is in a nice and safe location. Lovely exterior and interior. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds, good quality bed linens and plenty of absorbent towels. Very clean.Hot water is slow to heat up in sinks, showers and bathtub. House needs to add more kitchen flatware - there were only 5 teaspoons, 1 tablespoon, but sufficient forks and knives. Also would be nice to have a non-plastic tea kettle.Please add indoor mat at back door to wipe shoes and avoid puddles and dirt...

"The purpose of our four-night stay in Roslindale was a family get-together with our son and daughter-in-law who live there. This property in a residential area close to the town center served that purpose perfectly.The property was exceptionally clean and neat. The street parking proved adequate and convenient during our stay. We especially appreciated the speedy snow and ice removal, which would otherwise have been difficult for us to deal with and would have delayed our planned activities."

"The host was nice and easy to communicate with although the place was not close to what we expected. Shower was extremely small and shower head faces the curtain and was spraying out the curtain. Bathroom door is rotted on the bottom and does not close all the way due to that. Bed in the room where the fridge is falls down why you sleep due to poor wood underneath. Dirty wash clothes found under couch and dresser in other room. Ants, and other bugs all over the place. Throw pillows smelt like...

"The only issue we had was locating the correct door. If it was listed in the description I must have missed it. The door looks kind of like a cellar door. Just highlighting that it’s a white door would be very helpful."
