"This place was such a nice vacation for our little family! My 1 year old and 3 year old boys were entertained by the new toys and the play areas outside! The Fosters were easy to get in touch with and more than accommodating when my little boy wanted to help with the animals!"

"My friend and I (40 women) randomly chose Gettysburg and this house got a quick getaway to relax. The location of the house makes it perfect for walking to anywhere in the center of town. The only slight negative to this was the noise. It is a busy road with lots of morning traffic and trucks. Other than that this home was wonderful!is that it was not a quiet street"

"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and...

"This is a gorgeous, spacious home within minutes of downtown Gettysburg. It was a great location where we could come back after our day of adventure and not feel like we would be tripping over each other. If I am ever in Gettysburg again, I will definitely consider staying here again."

"Although we did not experience any paranormal activity that stood out, our trip was very interesting. We loved the books and journals that were there to read and the property was outstanding. The host was prompt with all of our questions and very professional. "

"The home is lovely and exactly as described. The hosts have thought of everything - from a wonderful coffee bar, to providing water and toiletries. The kitchen is well appointed and beds extremely comfortable. We loved it!!"

That being said, the price of hotel rooms in the same area seemed to be much lower and would have been a much better overall value for our short stay."

"I love the attention to detail. I have a neck injury so one of the days I just slept and rested and it was magical. I appreciate how clean everything was. Me and my mom and daughters take an annual girls trip and this was just what we needed. Watched movies, enjoyed the spa feel of the house and played games. The location of the home is within walking distance of museums, stores as well as restaurants. "Overall we had a nice stay in this cozy home. Super cute house, upstairs set up w/2 bedrooms, loft and a very large bathroom. This worked out well with my 3 young adult kids and their friends. Pool table in basement was a pleasant surprise. It is about a 15 minute drive to any store/restaurant. check-in was at 4:00 we arrived around 4:20 and cleaning lady was still there. "We really enjoyed this slice of heaven. We drove up for my husband’s birthday. He’s a history buff, so it was perfect in terms of location. Only 10-15 minutes from Gettysburg. The stream flowing behind the cabin was just amazing. Beautiful cabin. Would definitely recommend. "
