"Good place for a quick getaway."

"Very nice and comfortable stay. Great breakfast options. Comfy bed. The only negatives were a strong cleaning solution odor in the hallway (it thankfully didn't make it into the room) and the room door was very heavy and a bit sticky to open. That posed a bit of a challenge when juggling two pups on leashes while trying to go in or out. Those minor negatives won’t prevent us from staying here again if in the area. "

"It’s a good property, run by fantastic people. The area is just being developed, so the hotel is something of a central hub in the area—locals are often there to dine and relax. Mallory and Crystal manage the property well and Martha and Michelle help with the entertainment. It’s the place to stay in the area, no doubt."

"Overall awesome stay. Home is on a quiet part of Lake Tuscaloosa. Everything we needed was in the home and Tanner was great to deal with. Dock was great, firepit was great and TV was huge to watch the football games on. Nothing to complain about, great weekend trip."

"We were using this house as an overflow over Christmas so didn’t spend much time ‘hanging out’, though the pool table was really fun when we did. For guests who might be considering this place: it is really large with multiple separate spots that people can gather in, and the outside space looks like it would be really fun in the warmer months. The kitchen is very well stocked and has some basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc. The beds are comfortable with great sheets - that was unanimous. It may be odd to say, but the number one compliment about this place was the management company were incredibly responsive to any issue - minor as they were (tv controller confusion and kitchen towels). I think it has changed hands recently so a few quirks that needed to be worked out (two doors, but only one entry code!) but I am certain this will be addressed. Really super to work with. Would stay again if we needed the space!"

"We had a fantastic time during our stay at your Northwood Lake Retreat!!There were a couple of issues but the host (Tanner) was great to work with and was very responsive to our requests/needs and he made everything right. The space was beautifully updated and we very much enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for us to have all three of our adult kids stay with us (including their significant others) and my elderly mother and all the family pets. Thank you for having a space where we could all stay together. "
