"A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay."

"Stayed here for Christmas at this beautiful cottage. From the time of booking, Merrick was a pleasure to deal with. He even arranged for the fire to be lit for when we got there! Upon arrival the cottage was so appealing and absolutely immaculate. It was everything that we had hoped for. It had everything that you could need and all of it was of the highest quality. "Lovely little cottage very clean, warm, quiet, nicely renovated, friendly animals and farmer next door. My daughter was a little spooked by spiders,and clusters of hibernating ladybirds in corners. Could do with a working outside light as very dark at night. Lady from office was lovely and helpful although no logs for fire as promised. Didn't know about road closure in evening/overnight at end of drive, but a kind workman let us through and back in so we could visit family nearby in evenings."

"After an initial issue in gaining access as code for door entry hadn't been activated and the emergency number didn't extend for assistance after 5.0pm, arriving at 8.30pm we would have been stumped without getting help from a neighbour opposite who thankfully had the owners personal number which on contacting the door access code was set within 15minutes. Our stay was very good after this initial hiccup and we would stay at the property again. "

"Quite the best property we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen one could possibly want for self-catering - and all looking wonderfully hygienic and spotless. Three good bathrooms, including one with shower for the disabled. We were blessed with good weather for sitting in the wonderful garden."
