"The Winchester Hotel and Spa was a great value stay. I stayed one night for a birthday treat to be able to enjoy the spa. The spa facilities are excellent and included in your stay. "Beds were comfortable and the room was well furnished, clean and pleasant. It would have been nice to have decaffeinated tea bags available, as my partner doesn't drink caffeine. But the big disappointment is having to pay for car parking even overnight. We noted that many car parks in Winchester were free on Sundays. I did know about this prior to booking. Also taking a £50 deposit showed a lack of trust in customers. I think the car parking charges are unpopular with the hotel's customers."
