"Stayed many years ago and high standards have remained. Beautiful gardens. Only downside was the dinner menu which did not change over the three nights we stayed. When we commented on this, we were told that out of high season, guests didn’t stay for more than one or two nights."

"Initial impressions of the hotel are great. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. A few negatives are that the floor in my room was dirty - could feel grit and dirt on my feet throughout, the breakfast was a little cold, and bathroom was a little grubby around the skirting boards (room 32). Breakfast dish was eggs Benedict - the muffin did not taste toasted at all and whole dish was a too cold. I would recommend staying here as all-in-all it was a good overnight stay."

"We arrived at the hotel late evening. Check in was easy, "Oh yes, double room, inland view, breakfast included, room 115", all very efficient. Up to our room, very clean and tidy, dumped the bags and back down to the lounge bar to relax after our 400 mile drive. 10 minutes later a call from reception, was our room ok? Yes, what we'd seen was ok., thank you. On returning to the room we realised that you had to slide sideways to get between the bed and wall to get into the bed from the other side,...

"We were very pleased with our stay. Hotel and room were clean and services were above regular. Very friendly staff and detailed informations given at time of arrival. Full bar available for purchases downstairs in a beautiful seating area. Terrace available for use. Breakfast was delicious and various. Thank you for taking a great care of 3 of us."
