"With it being a Sunday night which was slow in foot traffic and the main bar being closed, we had dinner in the restaurant. Excellent fish and chips but 1 of my guests was served a very dry and tastless burger. It was removed from our bill which was appreciated. Service on drinks was slow and we needed to chase down refills. Breakfast in the morning was confusing. No direction from our server. Continental offerings we're spread all over the place. "Room was nice, quiet, comfortable beds. Staff friendly. £14 buffet breakfast was fine - small amounts put out so was to wait for most continental items, deep fried potatoe scones, bacon was very salty and fat uncooked. Sausages just not to my taste but did seem to be butcher quality."

"This hotel is outstanding and from the outside you think hmm but inside it is well decorated and cleaned . The bedroom was spotless and had a kettle with tea and coffee to make a drink. The bathroom was clean and modern and a great shower and well designed and fitted out. Breakfast was great such a great choice from toast to cereal.. and a cooked breakfast that was delicious and quality items with a great waitress. Trust me worth staying . "
