"The cabin was easy to find and access. It’s very large and has a good view of the mountains and rising sun from the master bedroom’s balcony. My daughter and her family arrived a few days before my partner and I did. They enjoyed their stay. They were visited by a couple of playful foxes. Hiking is mainly on roads around private properties but we mainly wanted a restful retreat and escape from work, anyway. Management was very communicative and understanding. I had neglected to book our dogs...

"We had the perfect unplugged vacation. It snowed so much during our visit, we stayed at the cabin for most of our visit. We enjoyed the movie selection, played board games, dominoes, made snow cream, and hot chocolate. We also enjoyed exploring the properly and having snow ball fights. We were excited seeing lots of wildlife. The cabin was very well stocked with all the extras. "

"We enjoyed our stay a lot! The cabin is tucked in the mountains just outside of Fairplay and close to restaurants and grocery shopping in town. Breckenridge is only about 40 mins away. Since the cabin is in the mountains up, you do need a vehicle with good tires - the roads were icy and snow packed during our December stay. We did use our chains once after a snow shower for more traction on the county roads leading up to the cabin - the hosts have chains in the garage if you didn't bring any....
