"About a mile to Blackwater Falls and about the same to town. Very close to the gas station and a pizza place. The unit has everything you need, but if there’s anything you forgot, you aren’t far from the grocery store and a Dollar General! Great communication with the owner and her local person. Might be cozy for more than 2 people, but it was a nice place to stay."

"The property is close to major attractions but away from town. It's the last house on a dead-end street with only one other home. Note: the neighbors have two off-leash labs that came to the property daily. Be mindful if your dog is also off-leash. I was not concerned they would bite or attack, but they barked a lot when out. It was quiet (when neighbor dogs weren't out) and secluded. The place was nicer than the pictures. The kitchen was stocked (just bring cooking oil or butter). I would stay here again if I were visiting. Bring tissues and soap/toiletries."

"We had a great long weekend in Thomas, WV, and really appreciated having such a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay. Darlene was an excellent host — communication was clear, quick, and easy throughout.The house was spotless, very up to date in all its amenities, and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The location made it easy to get to Blackwater Falls State Park, Davis, and other nearby spots. We also really appreciated being able to bring our dogs along — having them with us made the trip even better.All in all, a clean, modern, pet-friendly place in a great location. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay—everything was exactly as listed. The house was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location within walking distance to all the downtown Thomas fun. The outdoor space with the deck, picnic table, and fire pit looked amazing—wish it had been a little warmer so we could’ve enjoyed it more. Would definitely stay again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable and then the two twins in the second room were great for the kids. The location was excellent for exploring the Davis region. Less than a five minute walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and brewery. Five minute drive to Blackwater Falls State Park. Lots of great hiking in the area and I'm sure it's a great location for ski enthusiasts in the winter. Just be aware, the apartment is on the second floor of a two unit building. We will definitely stay again if in the area."

"We had a great time. The house is quiet, but located right by multiple restaurants and attractions in Thomas. It's less than a 15 minute drive to Blackwater Falls and the Dolly Soda are about a half hour away. Great for resting, relaxing, and getting out in nature!"

"Location was perfect and place was clean with all you need. Spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Close to Blackwater Falls and Douglas Falls. Lots of cute shops and close to Davis for more art shops. Highly recommend this place!"
