"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. "This a sizeable property and well placed for easy access to Beach, Town and shops. It has 5 bedrooms including a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Some updating needed of facilities which has been fed back. However, this was a great success as it’s very hard to find suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues and I was staying with my parents who are 88 & 89 respectively. "I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression.
