"To entrance is within the porte cochere. Middle of the block. You can avoid paying the $40 per day valet charge and self park at the hanover st garage or the foundry garage. We parked at the foundry garage for $1/ hr. Its a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Everything in downtown portsmouth is within walking distance and felt very safe. Strawberry Banke is a 15 minute walk and quite enjoyable. We ate at the hearth food court, it was lovely. Theres plenty of choices for food and beverage within walking distance. The only dislike i had for the hotel, was that the bed was to hard for my liking. The water pressure and space was great however. We would stay here again and i would recommend it. "

"The room was spacious, clean, bright. I was only here for one night, in town for a family event, but it was a place I would stay again. It is convenient to Exeter center. They offer breakfast. With two entrances hot options cold options grab and go options. It was lovely! Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended."

"This is the best winter spot. Ocean front to Hampton Beach and low rates. It is a no frills hotel but they have fresh brewed coffee in the lobby in the morning. I stay here multiple times during the off season. It is a true gift."
