"Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold to enjoy the incredible patio and balcony, but, that would be awesome in the summer. Richard was easily available to answer questions. HIGHLY recommended for any season!"
