"We were working a retreat at the Allen Parish Correctional Facility. We needed a location nearby that we could go to and not have any issues at all. Be able to come in late each evening have a wonderful place to stay and sleep and then be able to leave early in the morning to continue with the retreat. We will definitely recommend this place be considered for Retreat team members to stay during future retreats."

"The cottage is charming. Out the kitchen window is a pretty view of the large backyard. The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen is stocked better than many airbnb's. If you plan to cook though, you'll need to bring your own spices, oil, etc. Which isn't a problem for me. I always do that anyways. At night the kitchen could use more lighting near the cabinets. It's a bit dark.The two bedrooms both have their own tv's, which is nice. The beds are very firm. My son was fine with his, but...

"This house was the perfect fit for our weekend gathering at a cousin’s party. Easy access to I-10. A sweet local grocery store practically right next door for all our needs. And within 10 minutes of our cousin’s home. The house is very clean. Beds are comfortable.
