"Great location - lovely reception staff - the gal also gave us directions to a few sites and she also gave us ideas for a dinner restaurant on a day when many restaurants are closed. Parking was so convenient with a big garage and easy to enter and exit. Beds were comfortable, nice bathroom with huge shower, wonderful breakfast. Great hotel in a lovely, historical town. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Evora!"

"We absolutely loved our time here! The house was perfect for us - beautifully traditional and with everything we needed. We visited in late December and found it so peaceful. We loved making fires at night, sleeping late, looking at the millions of stars in the dark sky, feeding the donkeys and enjoying the views over cups of tea and glasses of wine. Miguel was so helpful in suggestions for things to do - we had a delicious dinner in Estramoz at Gardanha. The Alentejo region is beautiful and so full of things to explore - I could not imagine a better home base than Casas St Rita. My teenage boys were sad to leave and we would love to return. Miguel made us feel welcome like family - it was a very special time we will remember forever."

"I loved the location of this property. Not even 10 minutes from Evora. The grounds were beautiful and the indoor pool with sauna and steam room were a nice retreat after a long day touring. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were well insulated from noise. The staff was very professional and we enjoyed chatting with the bartender in the lounge area - he had very good restaurant recommendations. My massage at the spa was mediocre at best but I am spoiled with my masseuse in the states! If I ever visit Portugal again I would definitely stay here! "
