"We absolutely loved our time here! The house was perfect for us - beautifully traditional and with everything we needed. We visited in late December and found it so peaceful. We loved making fires at night, sleeping late, looking at the millions of stars in the dark sky, feeding the donkeys and enjoying the views over cups of tea and glasses of wine. "Amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and unbelievably helpful with recommendations and help to make reservations. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with our own private patio. "The hosts Miguel and Sandra were so sweet and accommodating and thoughtful to our every need. The rooms and the house is so luxurious but still with the comfy Alentejo vibe. Breakfast was amazing and varied with the hosts having breakfast with us (due to our invitation) and telling us local stories and cultures. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended"

Leider war das ein Flopp. Als ich am Anreisetag gegen 18 Uhr im Hotel eintraf, empfing mich eine lausige Kälte und eine mürrische ältere Dame mit dem ersten Hinweis, dass es das vertraglich zugesagte Wifi nicht gäbe. Erst dann wollte sie wissen, wer ich wäre. Das angebotene Zimmer war nicht beheizt und hatte eine Temperatur von 10 bis 12 Grad....
