"This is a great place to stay. Super clean and very well-equipped. Just a short walk to the beach and there are some good restaurants nearby if you don't want to go into the old town. Also close to a large supermarket and theres a mini-market 5 mins walk away. The host is also very helpful and responsive to communications. Overall highly recommended!"

"We had a great stay at Janelo do Mar. The villa is in a great location near restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We had a few issues which Isabel did her best to sort out. One point I would raise is the lack of lighting by the BBQ area. "We stayed for 19 days in March 2025. The villa is very charming-we loved the sun room and used the log burner as it was March and a bit chilly. We used the sauna and spa bathtub a lot. We spent almost all of our indoor time in the sun room. Great sunrises! Kitchen is great-had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The grounds are so beautiful. "Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. The beds are super comfortable, the bedrooms are quiet and dark and we all had super relaxing sleeps. There is not much to do by foot in the area, so a car is a must for day trips in the Algarve. "Such a spacious and cozy villa! We were welcomed by Carolina who already started a fire in the cool weather. We did some hiking and lots of walking, cooked a couple of meals. Such a relaxing spot, thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the howling wind and rain storm one night. Beautiful area to explore!"
