"The hotel was like a hidden gem, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for our family. A very nice beautiful location with easy access to water parks, beaches and historical/culture interest staff are very knowledgeable about what’s on in the area. Very much recommend the hotel organising a boat trip as the caves are absolutely stunning. Our family had a great holiday and will be booking to go again. We’ll definitely book again."

"This is a very unique property with a lovely hostess, Dolly. It’s small and intimate with only room for 5 families. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the beach is convenient. The rooms are very clean, large and comfortable. You can tell that Dolly takes pride in providing a good experience for guests. She cares!! "Beautiful property, quiet and serene however, if you don’t have a car, it would be tricky to get around if you are looking to explore. It is quite far from things. Paderne also looks like a deserted town and restaurants are always closed. "

A wonderful find

"We booked this on a bit of a last minute family trip and it turned out to be a delight. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic, all the staff are very friendly and lots of them made a fuss of our children and kept them smiling. Drinks are reasonably priced, our family room was spacious. We had a partial sea view that we were happy with. Room service did a great job tidying up each day. There’s no bad things I have to say about the place, just wish the weather was better but you can’t have it all. We will definitely come back to Dom Jose. Location is fantastic too!"
