"Fantastic hotel-clean, comfortable, modern rooms in a quiet rural setting. Short 10 minute drive to town. The breakfast was incredible-farm fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough positive things about Quinta da Luz…except that our stay was too short."

"Beautiful quiet place with caring hosts! Since there are only two rooms, the chance is good to have it completely on your own, ok besides the lovely purring cats and the Egg Suppliers 😀 Gabriela and Håkon live their dream. Gabriela makes lovely marmalade, Yoghurt and Granola, Håkon baked very yummy bread and Pizza, and both love good food and wine. We will definitely want to come back! Domenico & Gabi "

"The owner is so rude and looks like the property is scam!!!! She kicked us out after one hour after check in .We asked for help Expedia!!! Costumer service helped us find different places…. But was very nervous situation!! We paid for the hotel months before and we had confirmation number.Be careful with the place!!!!! "

"It was a nice house however the mattresses need an upgrade. There were some issues with some comforters with stains on it. Nice welcome package however garbage bags, dishwashing pucks and basic spices, like salt and pepper would have been nice. "

"Great place for a family reunion. Close to the beach, in the middle of the Algarve, pool, lots of room, well equipped kitchen, beautiful space for a large group. Pool guy was great, cleaning staff excellent. Needs a few things fixed: gate to parking area didn't work, fridges missing shelves and freezing open, toilet water leaking into pool, pool skimmer didn't work, air conditioner in one room didn't work. All reported on the first day but not fixed in a month stay."
