"This was a beautiful location. Definitely recommend. You are right by a river and some good trails. The only thing was the maintenance/ housekeeping on the golf cart knocked on our door two hours before check out and apologized but proceeded to wait the rest of the two hours outside the room in the cart for us to leave so it felt a bit rushed. "

"Hotel room was clean and comfortable. We had faced problem with bathroom commode flush but they immediately changed the room upon reporting the problem. Breakfast was having very limited choices however it was good. The surrounding area was beautiful and eventually we were lucky to see a gang of elk crossing the road in front of the hotel. We will recommend this property for family stay. "

"Our stay at Discovery Lodge was fantastic! The location was close to everything in town and only about 40 mins from the rockies, while mere minutes from downtown and the Stanley Hotel. The room was clean and our balcony had a beautiful mountain view. We woke up every morning to watch the sunrise and loved seeing the sunsets as well. A bonus was all the elk and deer we saw at the lake on the property! The room rates were really well priced and worth every penny. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we’re in town. "
