Murphys River Lodge is a charming motel located within easy walking distance of downtown Estes Park, and is a few miles from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast hit the spot. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub. Overall, it's a great place to stay when exploring the Rockies!

Our family stayed at Murphy’s for a family wedding. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was an ideal location for our three families, as it was close to the wedding venue, next to a great restaurant, and within walking distance to town.

Staff were great and considerate. We were getting away for anniversary and were welcomed with a card and gift. Very warm welcome. Room was nice and cozy. Close to Main Street, within walking distance. Will stay again in future.

Convenient location to explore Rocky Mountain and downtown; great view and with river that is just right at the back of the property; awesome staff; room is clean and spacious; we’re well rested and got to go breakfast. Thank you.

Service was great, property was nice. We just did not like the smell, noise, mess, and inconveniences due to the road construction being done on the road in front of the property. We came here for quiet and solitude and the road construction ruined that

We really loved the amenities on the property like the hot tub and heated indoor pool. The proximity to restaurants and shops in Estes Park was a bonus. The staff were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. Definitely will stay again when visiting the area.

We enjoyed our February stay at Murphy River Lodge! There was plenty of available parking and we were able to easily walk downtown for shops and dining. It is a short drive to the Rocky’s. The staff were very welcoming and offered coffee and popcorn in the lobby which was very nice. I would stay here again.

Beautiful stay

The check-in process was smooth, me movies and popcorn at the front desk were a great touch and we loved the pool and hot tub. The Continental breakfast was a nice touch as well, and the location is great and a beautiful walk into town!
