"The Continental had an interesting mix of old with new. I loved the look of the hotel. The pool was a perfect temperature with a cool rooftop view. Loungers were scattered around but I was never able to grab one. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful."

"Lovely grand hotel! Excellent service from the bellmen, front desk, concierge, spa and housekeeping. Delicious meal at The White Salon with amazing decor, food and excellent service. We had massages and facials at the spa and then enjoyed the sauna pools and steam. The rooms were huge and very comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom with nice soaps and towels. My family loved this hotel. It’s located on a busy street and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the touristy areas. But we looked at the hotel as a destination in itself. Jennifer the concierge, was super helpful and booked us a boat cruise and helped with restaurant and shopping suggestions. Overall we had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous hotel. Can’t wait to visit again. "

"The hotel was situated close to the railway station which gave easy access to the public transport network enabling getting around easy. The reception staff were very welcoming & helpful. The room was compact but functional & immaculately clean when we arrived. There weren’t any frills added like a welcoming bottle of water in the room or tea/coffee making facilities which was disappointing. However the breakfast was good with cold & warm options available. There were plenty of restaurants & fast food places within easy walking distance as no meals other than breakfast are served here. There was a mini bar in the room which was chargeable but there was also a spar supermarket on the corner within a few metres to stock ip eith snacks & drinks."

"Jewish Quarter gem set back from the street with a British Colonial feel, and suite accommodations that met all needs, even a working oven and fridge not a little box and has a freezer that works. Very walkable to public transit and fun restaurants and bars. The bed was perfectly comfortable, too. Only complaint was not-so-great WIFI. A great find!"
